Located at 65° N on the southern edge of the Arctic Circle, you can see the lights almost every night, and in warmer temperatures than many other locations. The auroras are caused by charged particles from the sun colliding with Earth’s magnetic field, creating colorful displays of green, red, and blue that dance across the sky.
