Balloon Ride from Blois-Chambord over Loire Valley Castles

A hot air balloon flight is an incomparable experience, a moment suspended in time when you can enjoy in peace and quiet the magnificent landscapes unfolding under the balloon. Above the Loire Valley, you will discover a region rich in history with many castles: Blois, Chambord... some prestigious names that you will have the opportunity to admire from the sky, in complete serenity. Your pilot, Mickaël, a former history teacher, will punctuate your ride with anecdotes about the region and share his passion with you: with him, you can't dream of better conditions for a successful flight. Take-off area
The take-off area depends on weather conditions. Generally you will meet on the banks of the Loire, in the city centre of Blois, but you may have to take off within a radius of 20km.
During your flight, you will fly over the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition to the beauty of the landscapes, you can also admire from the sky several of the many castles that have made this region famous since the time of the French kings. The royal city of Blois, Chambord and its gardens, or lesser known castles such as Chaumont-sur-Loire on the banks of the Loire, await you for a spectacular journey.

Ride programme
- Before take-off:
To enjoy the best weather conditions, flights take place in the morning at dawn or at sunset. On the day of your flight, we will meet you on site at the agreed time: the first step will be to set up the equipment and inflate the balloon, tasks in which you may be invited to participate. Once the balloon is inflated with hot air and the basket installed, it is time to board: it is the sporting part of the flight.
- During the ride:
For 1 hour, your pilot will play with the air currents and show you the spots not to be missed. Each balloon flight is unpredictable and unique: it is not possible to anticipate what you will see... even if you can be sure you will be amazed by the journey. You can of course bring your camera.
- After landing:
When our journey comes to an end, it will be time to put yourself in a safe position for landing. Back on solid ground, we will help you get out of the basket and then this great experience will end with a snack during which you can exchange your impressions with the other passengers. You will also be given a diploma attesting to your new status as a balloonist.
