Discover Scuba Diving for Beginners - Giens or Porquerolles

Based on the Giens peninsula, we are here to show you the wonders of the aquatic world during a one-on-one session with one of our certified instructors who will make this first diving experience fun and above all put you in perfect confidence. A spectacular journey full of fish, underwater plants and unique landscapes await you a few metres below the surface, to be discovered from the age of 8.

Dive Area
For the first dive, we need a sheltered and shallow area. Depending on the weather, we have several sites around the peninsula of Giens and Porquerolles perfectly adapted to this first approach to diving, for safe practice. Whichever place we choose, you will have a first-hand look at the abundant underwater life typical of the Mediterranean, made up of many endemic fish and plants.

Programme
- Meeting & Preparation:
We meet directly at our base at 2 pm. A parking lot at the port is accessible to you; if you use public transport, bus lines 67 and 68 run from the city centre of Hyères. There, you will get to know the team, complete the necessary documents and be provided with the appropriate equipment for your first dive. Once the equipment is on the boat, we will leave at 2:30 pm for the dive site, which we will reach in about 15min. The boat is large enough to allow you to leave your things or even change onboard.
- Diving:
Once on site, you will be given a briefing on how to use your equipment and how to behave underwater. Then, you will dive one-on-one with your instructor for 20min, for a unique experience! In addition to discovering the rich subaquatic fauna and flora, you will finally know what it feels like to breathe underwater. While waiting for your first dive or after your turn, you will have the opportunity to snorkel around the boat to continue your exploration of the seabed.
- Return:
Once all participants have completed their first dive, we will return to the base by boat which we will reach around 5:30 pm.
