Sea Kayak Tour "Winter" in Lofoten

Uncover the charms of Lofoten archipelago during the wintertime! Discover majestic snowy mountain peaks and islets covered in snow which makes them look like sugar-coated. Take a deep breath and listen to the rhythm of waves, splashes of the kayaks during paddling along the frozen coastline of Lofoten. Kayaking in winter gives you a unique chance to get closer to nature and experience a relaxing couple of hours with a local, knowledgeable guide.

To ensure the maximum comfort, our group size is a maximum of 10 participants per tour and we provide you with healthy snacks as well as hot drinks during the whole time on the sea. We will explore the northern-east part of the archipelago, a harmonious tour which is suitable for everyone without any previous experience. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Eggum!

Tour programme
- Preparation:
Our meeting point is in the harbour of Eggum in Lofoten. Join us 15 minutes before the booked time to meet your guide and learn the safety rules for the tour. There's a parking lot right next to our office, so you can comfortably park there. From there, we will walk a few minutes to grab a kayak and begin our tour from a nearby beach.
- Tour:
During our tour we will paddle along the coastline of Lofoten, seeing on the way majestic fjords, sharp mountains, breathtaking waterfalls as well as a variety of wildlife living in the pure, untouched nature of the region. During the whole tour, we will provide you with delicious snacks which will maintain your energy for the whole time.
- Arrival:
We paddle back to our base in Eggum, where you can have a hot drink after the relaxing tour and a little chat with your guide.
