Join us on our boat trip from Tromsø to the breathtaking Ramfjord and Kvaløya. We travel south to the scenic Ramfjord, renowned for its 90-degree bend and historical Cold War facility. In the winter, the fjord freezes due to the inflow of freshwater, offering a unique view. Continuing through Ristraumen, a strong current fishing spot, we reach Kvaløya island. Here, you will learn about the significance of fishing in Northern Norway and the fish processing industry.
Our knowledgeable guides will show you the traditional and famous drying racks used to make 'stockfish' and provide a deeper insight into the local fish processing industry. You will even get to try a little taste of the very products that were produced here and are still being made. The boat features warm indoor saloons, ensuring a comfortable trip throughout. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as white-tailed eagles, fish, and possibly reindeer, with binoculars available for a better view.
