About the Activity

What to Expect

Our Pro-Rider ski lessons in Megève are designed for confident young skiers aged 12 to 17 who want to progress beyond the marked slopes and take their technique to the next level. Participants should already feel confident on all types of slopes, including black runs, and be ready to develop their freeride and off-piste skills (equivalent to the French Ski d’Or level).

The lessons begin on marked pistes, focusing on refining technique, improving fluidity, and learning to adapt to varying snow conditions. In small groups of up to 6 participants, each skier benefits from tailored instruction and detailed feedback from experienced instructors. This initial stage helps strengthen control and precision before heading onto more demanding terrain.

As the sessions progress, the group gradually moves towards more challenging slopes and off-piste areas, applying safety techniques and advanced movements in real conditions. By the end of the course, participants gain greater confidence, technical mastery, and the ability to approach the mountain with more independence and skill.

Meeting Time

We meet at the blue Oxygène flags, located between the Mont d’Arbois cable car and the PT Vorasset drag lift, where our children’s area is situated, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 12 years

• Minimum level: 12 weeks of skiing experience and ability to ski on black slopes

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The maximum group size is 6 participants per group
