Snowboarding Lessons for Kids (5-16 y.) for All Levels - Villars-Bretaye

After trying snowboarding, it's hard to want to go back to skiing. Our snowboarding lessons in Villars are designed for children from 5 to 18 years old. They will be able to join a group of 8 students maximum and benefit from the group dynamics and the emulation necessary to progress. They will be able to snowboard with children of the same age and with a similar level.

A qualified instructor will teach them different techniques depending on their level. We take the more inexperienced ones to beginner slopes, so they can gain confidence, feel comfortable on the board and maintain their balance. Then, if they reach this goal, they will take the lifts to the green runs and practice bodyweight transfer. With the more experienced, we will cross the important threshold of the switch together. This opens the doors to advanced snowboarding. Then we can work on carving, freestyle and off-piste. There is something for everyone and everyone can find their way to progress.

Meeting Time
Please come to the meeting point in Bretaye 20 minutes before the beginning of the class. Please note that the ride on the train that takes you to meeting point might take a while. Plan enough time in order to arrive punctually.

Meeting Place
The Roc d'Orsay lift is reserved for intermediate skiers. Beginner skiers should come by train.
We can pick up your child at Villars train station (CHF 10/day). To do so, you must give us 24 hours notice.

Ski pass
The ski pass is free for children under 6 years old. However, you need to collect it before the first lessons at the ski lift ticket office. All other snowboarders need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass before the first lesson at the ski lift ticket office or online. Please be aware that you need a ski pass to bring your kid to the meeting point.
