Hydrospeed on the Gave de Pau

Hydrospeed on the Gave de Pau is the ultimate whitewater activity to blow your mind! Lying down on an unsinkable float, wearing a thick wetsuit and flippers to propel you, you have a front-row seat and direct contact with the white water. The hydrospeed allows you to play with the movements of the water. Our location is ideal, and allows us to guarantee you a progressive session by tackling the wave of Flip Flap and in the slalom of the Pont des Grottes basin.

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at our base on the edge of the Gave de Pau in Montaut, where you can easily park in our free car park. After you are equipped, we leave in the truck for a short journey of about ten minutes, until the starting point of our adventure. Then a briefing, and off we go!
- Tour:
The 13-km descent will make us discover quiet sections, and a succession of rapids to get action!
- Return:
At the end of the course, we arrive directly on the beach of the base: we look together at the pictures! You can also enjoy a nice and warm shower; and if you are hungry after all this action, there is a restaurant nearby.

- River: Gave de Pau (difficulty level: Class-II with one Class-III section)
- Description: one of the most beautiful sections of the Gave de Pau. We pass in particular the famous wave of Flip Flap, and the basin of the Pont des Grottes, well-known place of the slalom and the rodeo rafting.
