CheckYeti is the leading online platform and mobile app to search, compare and book winter sports and outdoor activities - including ski lessons, snowboard lessons, rafting and canyonig tours. Thanks to more than 2500 listed activities from certified sports schools and guides, holidaymakers and sports enthusiasts will always find the right offer at CheckYeti.
CheckYeti allows you to find winter sports and outdoor activities from local sports schools, sports instructors and guides in more than 350 regions across Europe. Simply search, compare and book online!
CheckYeti is free of charge for all customers.
Finding the right offer
Enter the desired region in the search field on the CheckYeti homepage, select one of the suggested destinations and click on "Search". All activities in this area will now be listed. You can filter this list according to your wishes. When deciding on an offer, it is also helpful to take a look at the customer recommendations for the various activities and providers.
CheckYeti offers a wide range of winter and summer activities. On the search results page you can filter by different outdoor and leisure activities. In winter you will find ski lessons, freeride tours, snowboard lessons and much more. In summer you can enjoy exciting summer activities such as rafting, canyonig etc.
On the search results page you have the possibility to filter according to the following categories: private (private lessons, private tour), group (tour/lessons in a mixed group of participants), event/camp (event/camps/trainings on selected days), ski rental including (rental of equipment).
After completing an activity, customers can assign different properties to their provider and activity. Up to three of these properties (e. g. child-friendly, beginner-friendly) can be displayed on the provider's profile.
Simply select "Skiing Kids" from the list of activities on the search results page of the region you are looking for. You will immediately be shown offers of ski schools and ski instructors for children.
The list of regions on CheckYeti is continually being expanded. If you cannot find the region you are looking for, please send us a message to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will inform you as soon as we cover the area.
The provider or guide has probably only recently registered on CheckYeti and therefore does not yet have any recommendations from customers. Missing recommendations are no indication for the quality of the supplier or his offers.
The prices shown on the search results page are indicated "per hour" or "per day" to make them comparable. You can find more details about the offer options and prices on the offer page.
Just click on "Send a message"on the offer or provider profile page.
After choosing your offer, click on "Book now". Enter your data and payment information and click on "Complete booking". At CheckYeti, providers have the possibility to make their offers available for direct bookings or booking inquiries. In case of a direct booking you will receive your booking confirmation immediately after the payment has been completed. In the case of a booking request, the provider has 24 hours to accept or reject the booking. As soon as he accepts the booking, it becomes binding and your credit card will be charged. If the provider refuses your booking, your credit card will not be charged.
No, bookings can also be made without a CheckYeti account.
As soon as the provider confirms your booking request, the booking is binding for you and the provider. Cancellation is always possible for customers - but depending on the time of cancellation, cancellation fees may apply.
Yes, the payment details are necessary to send a booking request. We accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Carte Bleue) and additionally offer the payment option SOFORT banking/Klarna (depending on the country).
No, CheckYeti is free of charge for all customers.
Yes, you will receive an email with all the details after you have submitted the request.
Please be aware that all booking requests become binding as soon as the provider accepts them. We recommend that you wait for the provider's answer before sending the next booking request.

No, CheckYeti is free for customers at all times and no payment fees are charged.
If you choose an offer with direct booking, your credit card will be charged immediately upon completion of the booking. If you have sent a booking request to a provider, your credit card will not be charged until the provider accepts the booking request. If the provider refuses the booking, your card will not be charged.
Yes, the online data transfer is of course SSL-encrypted according to the highest security standard. The payment process is handled by a professional payment service provider, CheckYeti does not store any credit card data.
After sending a booking request
Our providers usually react quickly to requests. However, they have a maximum of 24 hours to respond. If you have not received a response within 24 hours, please contact CheckYeti at email@example.com and we will get in touch with the provider.
As soon as the provider has accepted your request, the booking becomes binding. Your credit card will be charged and you will receive a confirmation email. If you have questions directly to the provider, you can log in at CheckYeti and send him a message.
No, additional payments directly to the provider on site are not necessary (unless explicitly stated in the offer).
The provider is probably already fully booked on this day. Just try again with an alternative provider.
If the provider does not reply within 24 hours, please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will get in touch with the provider and, if necessary, help you find an alternative.
Please confirm the meeting point with the provider in advance and try to reach him directly. Otherwise please contact CheckYeti immediately and we will do our best to help you.
If you would like to change and adjust your booking, please contact the provider directly. Just log in to CheckYeti and send him a message. In the case of major changes, price adjustments may occur under certain circumstances.
All customers that booked an activity via CheckYeti can leave a recommendation for the respective offer after the activity has taken place.
After your activity you will receive an email reminding you of the recommendation. Just follow the steps described there.
No, once you have sent the recommendation, no changes can be made. If you still want to change it please contact us at email@example.com.
Yes, as a customer you can cancel bookings at any time. Just log in to your CheckYeti account. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the time of your cancellation (see next question).
Depending on the cancellation conditions applicable to each offer, different cancellation fees may apply:
- Flexi: Full refund up to 24 hours before the start of the activity.
- Standard: Full refund up to 31 days prior to the start of the activity, 80% refund between 30 and 8 days prior to the start of the activity and 50% refund between 7 days and 24 hours prior to the start of the activity.
- Strict: 90% refund up to 31 days before the start of the activity, 50% refund between 30 and 8 days before the start of the activity.
To delete your account, please send us a short email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Of course, we would like to know what prompted you to make this decision.

For activity providers - About CheckYeti
Anyone who has the legally required qualifications and approvals for providing a specific winter sports or outdoor activity under the respective local laws can offer his activities on CheckYeti.
CheckYeti is a powerful marketing tool for activity providers to increase their presence on the Internet and optimize their capacity. CheckYeti is already used by numerous providers throughout Europe. Registration is free of charge.
Registration and creation of a profile on CheckYeti is free of charge. CheckYeti works with a commission model where you only pay if you accept bookings and earn money with them.
We would highly recommend you to link, share and promote your CheckYeti profile in all your online sites. Anyone who views your CheckYeti profile is a potential future customer of yours and might be interested in one of your offers and send you a booking request right away.
For activity providers - Managing my profile
Just click on "Register" in the lower part of the website. You can create a CheckYeti profile within minutes. You will receive an email with an activation link. Follow the link and you can create your personal profile and your offers! If you have any problems or questions, please do not hesitate to contact email@example.com, we will be happy to help you.
To edit your profile, click on "Login" in the "Provider" area (lower part of the website). Afterwards you can enter all the information in your personal cockpit, create offers and upload pictures.
If you offer activities in several regions, you can easily indicate this on your profile. Log in to your CheckYeti account and go to the tab "Destinations". There you can search for summer destinations and ski resorts in the respective drop-down menu and add them to your profile. It is important that you add the relevant destinations/regions to each of your created offers.
The ranking of search results is determined by the following factors:
1. completeness of profile and offers (can be influenced by you)
2. quality of profile, offers and pictures (can be influenced by you)
3. response time and cancellation of requests (can be influenced by you)
4. customer recommendations (can be influenced by you)
5. diversity for the customer (you cannot influence)
In order to improve your position, you should update your calendar for all your offers, respond to requests within 24 hours, avoid cancellations of requests, improve descriptions for your profile and offers, upload high quality images and ask customers for recommendations of your offers.
Describe yourself and your offers as detailed as possible to give your potential customers a good view on your experience, who you are as a person/company and how your offers work. Do not forget to motivate your customers to recommend you after completing the activity on CheckYeti.
To appear in the search results, you have to create at least one active offer on your CheckYeti profile. Your profile and offers must be complete before they can be found. This includes price, profile description, profile picture, offer details, offer picture, regions, languages and currency.
In order to ensure a fast handling of payments, it is crucial that you complete the section "Billing details" immediately (incl. ID upload). In order to be able to transfer money to you, we urgently need your bank account details (and a copy of your identity card). You can easily do both in your CheckYeti profile.
If you forgot your password please click on "Provider login" and then on the "Forgot your password?" button. Enter the email address you use for CheckYeti and you will receive an email with a link to a page where you can set your new password.
To change the email address you use for CheckYeti, simply send us a message with your name, your new email address and the email address you don't want to use anymore to firstname.lastname@example.org or simply use our contact form.
To delete your CheckYeti account, please send us a message to email@example.com. Of course, we would like to know what prompted you to make this decision.
For activity providers - Managing my offers
You can easily create, view and manage your offers in your CheckYeti account. You can also specify, for example, whether your offer is intended for customers with a certain level of experience, whether there is a minimum number of participants, in which region the offer is valid and much more. You should also upload an appealing picture for each offer and update the availability in your calendar.
Please update the availabilty of all offers that are affected. This is important in order to facilitate a fast booking process and to help you avoid additional work by receiving requests that need to be cancelled. Declining a booking will have a negative impact on your CheckYeti ranking and can be avoided by keeping your calendar updated.
Yes, an updated calendar will have a positive impact on your CheckYeti ranking. It will also help to minimize declines of booking requests and thereby make customers happy.
We are constantly working on expanding the number of destination offered. If your destination is not yet listed, please send us a message to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that currently your small destination might be linked together with a bigger one. In this case you can simply select the bigger destination when creating your offers.
As a provider on CheckYeti you have the possibility to activate your offers either for direct bookings or for booking requests. In the case of direct bookings, customers receive a booking confirmation directly by e-mail after completion of the purchase and the booking is therefore binding for the customer and provider. If you choose to offer your activities via booking requests you have the option to accept the booking request after a personal check. Customers as well as most providers prefer direct bookings because the booking process is quick and easy for both sides. Offers with activated direct booking are booked more frequently by customers.
For activity providers - Handling my booking requests
If you receive a booking request, please accept or decline it immediately but latest within 24 hours. You can accept (or decline) a booking request by logging in to your CheckYeti account and navigating to "Bookings". Please do not try to respond directly by email.
Yes, declining booking requests will have a negative impact on your CheckYeti ranking. To avoid this and to not disappoint customers please keep your offer calendars updated (simply log in to your CheckYeti account and update the offer calendars under "Activities offered").
You should respond to requests as soon as possible but latest within 24 hours. After that time CheckYeti reserves the right to cancel the booking request or allocate it to another provider.
After 24 hours CheckYeti reserves the right to cancel the booking request or allocate it to another provider. Not responding will have a negative impact on your CheckYeti ranking.
Please make sure you have communicated all the necessary details to the customer (meeting point, your contact information etc.). After the successful completion of your activity motivate your customers to leave a positive recommendation via CheckYeti. The more recommendations you receive, the more attractive your CheckYeti profile and offers become to new customers.
You receive the booking request email in the same language the customer used when requesting via CheckYeti. That means if a customer uses the website in German, you will receive a German booking request.
For activity providers - Payment
Payments are transferred to your bank account. Please make sure you have completed your bank account details in your CheckYeti account. Otherwise we will not be able to transfer money to you.
Booked activities are collected 1-2 times a month and the respective amount is transferred to your bank account.
Yes, you will receive an invoice via email automatically at the end of the activity.
For activity providers - Cancellation
Providers may only cancel an accepted booking in exceptional cases. If you have to cancel, please contact us at email@example.com.
If the customer cancels a confirmed booking, our refund policies apply. If you are entitled to a cancellation fee we will make the respective transfer to your bank account and you will be informed via email.
You can select from the following three customer cancellation policies for each of your offers:
- Flexible: Full customer refund up to 24 hours before activity start.
-Standard: Full refund up to 31 days prior to the start of the activity, 80% refund between 30 and 8 days prior to the start of the activity and 50% refund between 7 days and 24 hours prior to the start of the activity.
- Strict: 90% customer refund up to 31 days before activity start and 50% refund from day 30 up to 8 days before activity start.
