The Almbachklamm is one of the most beautiful gorges in the Salzburger Land. As such, it is unsurprising that it is the setting of our most popular canyoning tour. In this varied gorge, you can expect endless fun with jumps, swimming passages and exciting slides. A scenically beautiful tour to get a taste of canyoning.
Tour programme- Preparation:We will meet at the reserved time in our
outdoor camp (parking available), where you can get your equipment and change in the separate cabins. If you're travelling by train, the
closest railway station is Golling Abtenau. Pick-up from there can be arranged for a surcharge. Depending on the booked option, you will then drive to the gorge with either your private car or us, where you will get an introduction by the guide.
- Tour:After a very short ascent, we reach the entry point. The route can be
adapted to your individual wishes - there are easy variations where difficult places can be avoided or roped down, while the advanced (or brave) among you can also dare higher jumps. However, if you feel uncomfortable with some of the jumps or water slides, you can always bypass them by abseiling down.
- Return:At the end of the tour, we drive back to the camp, where you can shower and change. If you are hungry by then, the Gasthof Torrenerhof next door is a good place to stop for a meal.
