"Great experience! The captain was so nice, caring and careful at the same time, he gave us few tips how safely swim and helped every time with getting on boat. He also managed to spot the turtle and told us the few seconds before the turtle put his head out of water like that we could take a picture! Recommend! The plus are also small motorboats!"

Explore the local sea life on this boat trip to Turtle Island and the Keri Caves. We depart from the port of Agios Sostis, and immediately set sail towards Marathonisi, also known as Turtle Island. The white beaches of the island make a great nesting ground for the Caretta Caretta turtles. We
"The trip by minibus (pick-up at the hotel) to the sulphur beach of Xigia was really nice, as it allowed us to gather further impressions of the interior of the country. We stayed in Xigia for an hour. There was a small snack bar above the beach where you could buy various cold and hot drinks and small snacks. From here you had a beautiful view of Xigia beach itself. There were also toilets. To get to Xigia beach, you went down a flight of stairs and then down a short rocky/stone path. Xigia is a pebble beach. If you wanted, you could go swimming here or take photos. Then we continued by minibus to Porto Vromi, from where we took a small excursion boat along the impressive cliffs to Shipwreck Beach. There, of course, all the guests had the opportunity to take photos. The guides also helped to take the best photos of this beautiful spot for the guests. We continued our journey back towards Porto Vroni. There we drove into one or two caves ("blue caves"), where the water shone a beautiful blue - an experience! We passed the picturesque "white beach" where we had the opportunity to swim. In Porto Vromi we were also made aware of a rock formation: the face of Poseidon. From Porto Vromi we then returned to the hotel. All in all, a wonderful tour that was an absolute highlight for us despite the slightly rainy weather.
The excursion boat had a "roof" so that you were protected from sun and rain."
