Via Ferrata of La Sambuy near Annecy

Is there any better way to experience the beauty of the the Bauges Massif than from the sky? Take advantage of this easy via ferrata of La Sambuy in Faverges built in the rock! A mountain guide will assist you to ensure that the group of maximum 8 participants can progress safely on this trail suitable for all ages, from families with children from 9 years old to older children. You will be rewarded with a panorama of the remarkable, rich and preserved environment of the Sambuy valley and a breathtaking view of the Mont Blanc and Lake Annecy.

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at the free car park, at the Sambuy lift ticket office, where your guide is waiting for you. Please be here 15 minutes before. If you wish to come by public transport from Annecy, you can go by bus to Faverges via the Lhisa line n° 51, then to the meeting point with the shuttles of the Sources du lac d'Annecy. Once there, after giving you your equipment and your ticket for the lift, the group will be able to take the chairlift (included in the price). At the top, you will receive the usual safety briefing, and you will be able to start the via ferrata.

- Tour:
For 2 hours, you will move along the cliff thanks to cables, monkey and Nepalese bridges, bars and footbridges installed on the rock. During the activity, there will be different options available, if you wish to take an easier or more difficult way (not on every obstacle), but the course has an escape route if needed. But don't worry, during this beginner's via ferrata, your guide will make sure you are safe and will give you advice on how to approach each obstacles with confidence!

- Return:
Once you have completed the course, you will walk back to the chairlift to return to the car park.
