Surfing Lessons (from 5 y.) on Sail Fish Beach

The Bassin d'Arcachon is not only a synonym for oysters, cabanes tchanquées and lazing on the beach. If you want your holidays to be more athletic, go to the Atlantic coast for surfing and especially to Cap-Ferret where the ocean offers nice waves for surfing enthusiasts. Whether you are a beginner or at a more advanced level, our state-certified instructors will be there to help you progress in complete safety. On Sail Fish Beach, you will enjoy lessons in small groups of 8 participants of similar level, all in a relaxed atmosphere. Ready to jump in the water?

Meeting & Preparation
The course schedule changes daily depending on the tides. They generally take place between 9 am. and 5 pm. On the first day, we meet at the agreed time at the Ocean Tennis Club. Our base is located under the trees. There, you will meet your instructor and you will receive your equipment adapted to your age and level (surfboard and wetsuit). Then, you will head for the beach, about ten minutes away, behind the dune.

Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 1 week in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

Course Content
- Theory session on the beach (presentation of the session and goal) and warm up: 10-15min
- Practice in the sea (every 15min, you head back to the beach in a group or alone for instructions and feedback): up to 1.5h
