Goal of the course
After completing the course, you'll get the certification of Open Water Diver, which allows you to dive to a depth of 18m. You'll also gain more confidence underwater and acquire new skills for when it comes to different situations that might occur underwater. Those who are younger than 15 years will receive the Junior Open Water Diver certificate which entitles their holder to dive to a depth of 12m.

Meeting & Preparation
Come punctually to our base located in Avenida de Papagayo at Playa Blanca. We also offer a pick-up service from any hotel in Playa Blanca, which can be arranged upon request. First, you'll get to know your personal diving guide who will brief you about safety, give you an introduction into diving and hand you the equipment. Together, we learn about scuba diving in theory which we put into practice later on. You can choose if you want to complete the theory part in our base or do it alone at home as an e-learning option.
