PADI Open Water Course in Taormina for Beginners

This beginners' course is safe and suitable for everyone, also for kids as young as 10 years old. We will teach you everything you need to know about this exciting sport, in the beautiful setting of the Taormina Marine Protected Area, a place suitable for beginners but also loved by more experienced divers.

Through theoretical and practical lessons, you will learn to dive independently to a depth of 18 metres. Your personal instructor will always be by your side, helping you to familiarize yourself with the equipment and learn how to breathe underwater. At the end of the course, you will receive a PADI licence that will allow you to dive all over the world and follow your passion for this unique sport.

Programme
- On-site theory lecture:
We will provide you with a book to study from and give lessons at our base, during which our instructors will teach you the basics of this sport. You will learn how the equipment works, how to behave in certain situations, and everything you need for your dives.
- Kick-off:
We meet every day at our base on Isola Bella beach. Through some dives in confined water, you will start familiarizing with the equipment directly in the sea. When you are ready, we will make open water dives, where you will be accompanied and followed step by step by your instructor. You can complete the course in 3 or 5 days, and the schedule can be arranged on-site according to your needs.
