Canyoning in the Sušec Gorge near Kobarid for Beginners

Canyoning beginners watch out! This tour is perfect for all of you who want to get to know canyoning. The Sušec Canyon offers action for everyone amidst untouched nature. Along the water, you will climb over rocks through the canyon, where jumps and water slides are waiting for you.

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at our sports centre in Kobarid. If your accommodation is in Kobarid, we will be happy to pick you up from there, please inform us after completed booking. If you arrive by car, there is a car park free of charge at the hotel Hvala. At the sports centre, you will meet your certified guides, who will also distribute the appropriate equipment to you. Afterwards, we drive to the car park at the canyon in our vans. This is followed by a 20-minute walk to the entry point in the canyon.
- Tour:
There you will get an introduction to the basics of safety in the canyon. Now you are well-prepared and can start your adventure. Numerous jumps into crystal clear water and natural water slides await you. If you don't dare to jump or slide, there is always the possibility to walk around. Finally, there is a 12-meter high waterfall, over which you abseil down.
- Arrival:
At the end of the tour, the vans are already waiting for you to take you back to Kobarid. If you are looking for a well-deserved refreshment after the tour, there is the Hisa Polonka restaurant right next to the meeting point, or the Gostišče Jazbec restaurant, which is a 3-minute drive away.
