Balloon Ride in the Pre-Alps at Chiemsee

The idyllic area around Lake Chiemsee is a paradise for balloonists and therefore the perfect place for your hot-air balloon adventure. From a bird's eye view you can discover a new side of the foothills of the Alps with their numerous lakes and green meadows. Floating between 150 and 3000 m above sea level, you will feel connected to nature and can forget all your worries.

Take-off area
Depending on the weather and wind conditions, we choose a suitable starting point around Bernau am Chiemsee.
From the air you have a breathtaking view of the green landscape of the Chiemgau Prealps. In the distance you can see the mountain ranges of the Alps with their majestic peaks. In addition, you can admire Lake Chiemsee and perhaps even Herrenchiemsee Palace from above.

Ride programme
- Before take-off:
We meet at the arranged time at our office in Hittenkirchen near Bernau am Chiemsee, where there is enough parking for guests. From here we will take you to the starting point, where you will receive a detailed safety briefing. Afterwards you can help the team to set up the balloon and learn a lot about the art of ballooning.
- During the ride:
Now we are ready to take off and glide gently through the air. During the ride you stand in the basket and can enjoy the fantastic view of the mountain panorama around you. Of course you are welcome to take pictures of the surroundings and your fellow travellers. After about 1.5 hours we land on a suitable field.
- After landing:
In teamwork we dismantle the balloon and all passengers receive the traditional balloon baptism with an individual certificate, in which you are elevated to the nobility of balloonists. The ground crew then takes us back to the meeting point where your car is parked.
