IAC Open Water Diver Course in Malinska for Beginners

With the IAC Open Water Diver course, you will become a safe and certified diver in no time at all. Once you have mastered all the basic skills during exercises in the shallow water of our home reef, you are ready for your first open water dives around the island of Krk. Together with your experienced instructors, find out what makes diving on the Croatian Adriatic coast so unique and discover a so far unknown underwater world!

Goal of the course
In the IAC Open Water Diver course, you will learn all the basics you need for independent diving. This includes equipment handling, theoretical basics such as terminology and safety rules, as well as practical skills practised during open water dives. The IAC Open Water Diver allows you to dive independently with a buddy and rent or buy diving equipment. Children between 10 and 14 years of age will receive the IAC Junior Open Water Diver certificate upon completion of the course, which allows them to dive together with a certified adult.

Meeting & Preparation
We meet at the booked time at our base on the premises of the hotel "Malin". Here you get to know the team and can fill out the necessary forms. After a first theory session, in which the basics of diving are explained to you, you will receive your diving equipment and be ready for the first exercises in the sea.

Course content
- Day 1: Theory + practice in confined water + 1 open water dive
- Day 2: Theory + 2 Open Water Dives
- Day 3: Theory + 1 Open Water Dive
Note: The order and length of the individual parts of the course can change and will be individually adapted by the instructor.
