Our Great Barrier Reef snorkeling and seawalking on Green Island is a perfect family activity. No swimming ability nor previous diving experience is needed. Our certified team is happy to show everybody aged above 12 years the marine wonderland with its 6000-year-old coral cay.
In a small group of a maximal of 10 participants, we will descend to a depth of 5 meters to the white sand seafloor. In the underwater world, you will be a guest of a big array of tropical colourful fish, corals and other sea creatures. After approx. 20 min under water and 60 min in total, you will return to the dive shop. You will have still plenty of time to do other activities on Green Island. The Great Barrier Reef snorkeling & seawalking adventure also includes a choice of snorkeling or a glass bottom boat tour.
Meeting & PreparationCheck-in for the Great Barrier Reef Snorkeling & Seawalking is at
Great Adventures counter inside the Reef Fleet Terminal, at least
30 minutes before scheduled departure time. There, the Environmental Management Charge of $6.50/person is to be paid. After 45 min you will reach Green Island, where you will find us at our
Dive Shop. Before your Great Barrier Reef snorkeling & seawalking adventure can start, you will fill in the medical questionnaire and receive 5 minutes informative safety briefing.
