The Canyon of La Manta, better known as Canyon de Los Azulejos, is a must-see in Gran Canaria. Known for its rock formations and crystal clear waters, it stands as one of the major destinations for the practice of canyoning on the island. Over the course of this tour, where we take you canyoning in La Manta, you'll be able to jump, abseil and slide, and you will feel all the thrills and chills. A shot of pure adrenaline for those who are seeking a unique challenge!
Tour programme- Preparation:We meet at our base
10 minutes before the start of the activity. A free pick-up service is available at several points around the island, so if you can't make it to our base, we will pick you up from there (pick-up locations are listed in your booking confirmation). As soon as we are all in the van, we will go up to the starting point. Once we park the van, we'll grab the equipment and embark on a 45-minute walk. During this time, you will have the opportunity to admire the mountain known as “Los Azulejos” for its incredible blue tones.
- Tour:After this long walk, the exciting part begins. Once we have completed the safety briefing and have our wetsuits and equipment on, we will start descending. Our guide will teach you the basic techniques to master the first rappel descent. The La Manta ravine has 5 rappels and many jumps into pools you can do. It even offers a 50-meter rappel for the more daring. Here, you will also have to put the techniques you've learned to the test. This rappel ends on firm ground, from where we can climb a rock and jump into a pool about 7 meters below. For the less daring, an alternative path can be taken where this jump is avoided. Once we reach the last pool, we can jump from various heights and spend some time relaxing and enjoying a snack before we head back.
- Return:After an awesome day, we will head back to our van and drop you off from the same place we picked you up from.
