Enjoy a day full of adventure by joining our trip: Canyoning in Los Cernícalos for Beginners. This offer is ideal for anyone looking to do a more unconventional activity while on holiday in Gran Canaria. By descending through this beautiful canyon, located in the center of the island, you are faced with a natural obstacle course that involves jumps, rappels, and water slides. Get to know the island from a completely new point of view - a great alternative to spending your day at the beach or by the pool!
Tour programme- Preparation:We meet at our base,
10 minutes before the start of the trip. A free pick-up service is available at several points around the island, so if you can't make it to our base, we will pick you up from one of them (pick-up locations are listed in your booking confirmation). As soon as we are all in the van, we will drive to the starting point. After parking, we will put on all the necessary equipment and walk you through a safety briefing.
- Tour:We will then hike through the Laurisilva forest for a bit, where you will be able to witness some of the island's beautiful flora and fauna. As we reach the ravine, we will start with a simple abseil so you can learn the basic techniques needed for this canyoning trip. As we continue, we will encounter an awesome natural slide, followed by our second abseiling point, which will be a bit more challenging. After approximately 3 hours, we will have descended a total of 4 rappels as well as 4 small natural water slides. This descent covers a total distance of 2 km and has a drop of 430 meters. At the end of this last descent, we will relax, re-fuel our energy and take a nice picture to remember.
- Return:After an awesome day, we will lead you back uphill to where we parked our van and drop you off at the same place we picked you up from.
