Canyoning in the Gorges du Loup near Nice

Take advantage of a sunny half-day to escape not far from Nice in the Gorges du Loup. This easy canyoning tour will take you to the heart of a rocky massif and luxuriant vegetation. You will progress in the Loup River, characterized by the beauty of its waterfalls and pools. Tour programme
- Preparation:
Your guide will meet you at the car park 10 minutes in advance. To get there, go up the Loup valley on the D6, until you reach the village of Pont du Loup. Then turn right towards Courmes; the car park is marked with a French flag on the right as you drive up the gorge and a white sign indicating "P Canyoning". Once the group of 8 participants is gathered, everyone will board the shuttle for a short ride to the entrance of the canyon. Finally, before heading down into the Loup River, your guide will provide you with all the necessary equipment and give you a safety briefing. The adventure can now begin!
- Tour:
You will start the tour with two-slide abseiling initiations. Then several obstacles will follow one another, such as jumps of 2, 5 and 7 m, natural slides of 3 m and two descents of 10 m on oblique sections. It is important to mention that you will have the possibility to avoid the obstacles. You will also have the opportunity to swim in the white water. You will finish with a 5-metre jump and an ejection slide.
- Return:
The 2 hours of activity will end with a swim in a nice pool. Then a 10-minute walk on a marked hiking trail will be necessary to return to the car park.
