Sea Kayaking to the Calanques from La Ciotat

Our experienced guide will lead you through narrow passages, glide into secluded caves, and marvel at the wonders of nature sculpted into rock formations. From tranquil turquoise waters to spectacular limestone cliffs, each moment offers a new view to contemplate. Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at our base 10 minutes before departure, where you can use changing rooms. If you come by car, you will find paid parking nearby (parking lot in La Ciotat is paid from May 1 to October 31 and free the rest of the year). We will start with a group presentation and preparation of our kayaks. Before heading out to sea, we will have a land-based paddling course, followed by the fitting of life jackets and spray skirts (depending on weather conditions). Your guide will then teach you essential techniques for sea kayaking.
- Tour:
Once the kayaks are in the water, we will head towards Île Verte to explore its hidden corners. Depending on weather conditions and the duration of your tour, you will have the opportunity to visit Calanques such as Seynerolles, Plageolle, Saint-Pierre, Figurolle, or Mugel, passing by the Bec de l'Aigle. Along the way, we will take time for breaks to admire the scenery and enjoy commentary from our guide. If you choose a full-day outing, we will stop in a calanque for a picnic and a swim.
- Return:
After our journey, we will paddle back to our starting point. After returning and storing the equipment, you can enjoy a shower and continue your day.
