About the Activity

What to Expect

Take your kid on an amazing skiing experience with our ski lessons for kids of all levels in Sierra Nevada! Nestled in the stunning mountains of Andalusia, the Sierra Nevada ski resort boasts over 140 km of well-groomed slopes. The resort is equipped with modern facilities, including a variety of dining options and a ski rental service to ensure your child's comfort and convenience during their lessons.

Our ski lessons, designed specifically for kids, offer a structured and progressive approach to learning. With maximum group sizes of 8, each child receives personalized attention from our experienced instructors. Beginners will start by becoming familiar with their equipment and learning the basic techniques such as gliding and stopping. These foundational skills are crucial for building confidence on the slopes. As they progress, they'll practice their first turns on gentle slopes, focusing on balance and control.

For those with more experience, our lessons will cover advanced skills like parallel skiing and mastering steeper slopes in designated areas such as the Veleta and Laguna de las Yeguas runs. These sessions aim to refine their technique, ensuring they ski with precision and style. Each session is designed to be both educational and fun, leaving your child with a sense of achievement and a love for skiing.

Meeting Time

We meet at the top station of the Al-Ándalus gondola lift, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson. You will be able to recognize our ski instructors by their red trousers and marine-blue jacket, with "Skicenter" written on the back.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

If you book your ski pass with Skicenter, we offer two easy options: Delivery to your accommodation: we’ll bring your passes the afternoon before, so they’re ready to use. Pick-up at our office: your passes will be prepared in advance, so you don’t need to queue or buy anything extra — they’re ready to go.

The booking was quick. On the day of class, we had some difficulty arriving and were a little late, but they did everything they could to help us find our teacher.

My daughter didn't learn anything new in four days of skiing, three hours a day. The classes were poorly organized, and she was always placed on the baby slope. The ski instructors noticed things weren't right, but they couldn't do anything about it. You can't call the company because they don't answer. We ended up booking two more hours of private lessons to teach her something. I would never go there.

The staff is amazing! The manager Jesus was one of the most helpful people I have met in a long time. They work hard and provide excellent service. Highly recommended.
