What to Expect

Adventure Canyoning in the Grmečica Gorge begins with a short safety briefing and getting equipped with a wetsuit, helmet, and harness. Your guide will explain how to move safely through the canyon. The first sections include natural slides, small jumps, and crystal-clear pools, giving beginners a chance to build confidence. There is also the option to abseil instead of jumping from higher points.

As you move deeper into the gorge, the canyon becomes more spectacular. You will encounter cascading waterfalls, rock slides, and a 10-metre cliff jump into a turquoise pool. The guide supports you at every stage, showing how to abseil down vertical rock faces and manage each section safely. Along the way, there are small ledges for jumping, natural pools for swimming, and water-carved walls that create a stunning alpine setting.

The adventure ends with a short walk out of the gorge, giving time to admire the unique canyon formations, crystal pools, and the thrill of jumps, slides, and abseils experienced throughout. The tour lasts a few hours at a comfortable pace. This canyoning experience combines adventure, nature, and fun, letting you enjoy the wild alpine environment safely.
