Trial Scuba Diving in Port-Cros from Hyères (2 Dives)

We offer you a privileged experience in the Mediterranean natural park of Port-Cros: enjoy not one, but two trial dives in an idyllic and safe environment. You will dive underwater with your certified instructor to discover the exceptional underwater world. During this day dedicated to scuba diving, you will learn how to breathe underwater, as well as how to use the language of divers. From 10 years old, venture under the surface of the Mediterranean Sea, and meet all kinds of colorful fish and crustaceans!

Dive Area
The Port-Cros National Maritime Park is located on one of the three islands of the Hyères archipelago. It offers a rich and diverse fauna and flora due to its exceptional natural springs. Indeed, at the edge of the magnificent coastal forest, you will find species characteristic of the Mediterranean such as groupers and barracudas, but also nudibranchs and many other fish, molluscs and crustaceans. You may also come across some typical birds such as gulls and falcons.

Programme
We will meet you at our base in Hyères at the agreed time. Our base is affiliated with a holiday resort and is very close to the beach. You can therefore enjoy the supermarkets, restaurants, showers and the atmosphere of this resort. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by your instructor who will give you your equipment and a detailed briefing. From Hyères, we leave by boat from the beach, pass by the islands of Hyères and head for our dive sites in Port-Cros.
When out in the sea, the trial dive will take place alone with your instructor. Together, you'll be able to dive up to 6m. You will also be shown the hand signals used for communicating underwater as well as the correct breathing techniques. At noon, we can have a lunch break together in a local restaurant that we recommend or if you prefer, you can bring your own sandwich. After this well-deserved break, we will go back in the water for our second dive.
