The FFESSM Level 1 course invites beginners over 12 years old to learn the basics of diving in order to become autonomous. During 5 days, you will apply the theory learned on-site and you will be able to dive with a certified instructor in complete safety. It is also an opportunity to enjoy the fabulous coastal scenery and to observe multiple aquatic species in wonderful underwater settings.The Level 1 FFESSM course qualifies you to:

The only way to learn the theory is to follow the theory course on site. You will learn all about the basics of scuba diving in a classroom at the dive centre with one of our instructors.
- Kick-off:
We will meet you at our base in Hyères at the agreed time. Our base is affiliated with a holiday village, very close to the beach. You will therefore be able to enjoy the supermarkets, restaurants, showers and the village atmosphere. Once you arrive, you will be welcomed by your instructor who will explain the program for the next few days. Throughout the course, your certified instructor will teach you successively the theory and the practice. In general, the course is done for 5 days, with 1 dive per day. It is possible to do it in 3 days, but we recommend 5 days to have enough time to learn the theory.Course content
