No, the ability to swim is a requirement for this course.
The FFESSM Level 1 course qualifies you to dive to a maximum depth of 20 m, always accompanied by a certified diving instructor.
The price includes the certified diving instructor, all necessary diving gear (wetsuit, mask, fins, octopus, weights), a scuba tank, the registration fee, and the FFESSM certificate.
Yes, a medical certificate is required to take part. You can also get one on-site for a fee of €35.
The course is generally completed over 5 days, with one dive per day. Although it is possible to complete it in 3 days, 5 days are recommended to ensure you have enough time to learn.
If you wear prescription glasses, you can participate as long as you are comfortable wearing contact lenses during the dive.
