FFESSM PE12 Diving Course in Bonifacio for Beginners

This lesson allows divers to explore part of the Corsican underwater world and at the same time do the PE12 course that will allow you to dive up to 12 m with a guide in France (since the FFESSM is a French certification), but also in some other countries. For this specific course, you don't even need previous experience or swimming skills. As Jordi, the manager of Bonifacio Plongée, puts it perfectly: the essential thing for diving is not to swim, but to sink! So dive into a new adventure and discover the local awe-inspiring underwater fauna and flora.

Goal of the course
After the course, you will receive the PE12 license. In addition to that, once you'll be back home, your level card should be waiting for you in your mailbox. These documents prove that you have completed the PE12 diving training and will allow you to dive with a guide or instructor up to a depth of 12 m. They also serve as your ticket to the next diving level: a level 2 course, for example.

Meeting & Preparation
The meeting point is at our base at the port of Bonifacio. This is where our reception is and where we store all our equipment. If the wind is very strong on the day of your activity, the meeting point may be changed to the local beach. Don't worry, if this is the case, someone will contact you and inform you about the situation.

This course takes place over two half-days. If your availability does not allow it, the days will not be consecutive. During these two days, classes will start at 1 p.m. and end at 5 p.m. Upon arrival at the base, before going straight to the dive site, your instructor will give you theory lessons. Once the theory is learned, the equipment is put on and a short briefing is done, you'll be all set and ready to go. In general, the dives for the PE12 course take place at the Lavezzi Islands, in protected bays. If the weather does not allow us to go there, we will stay close to the coast, directly at the cliffs.
