SSI Open Water Diver Course in Bonifacio for Beginners

Ready for the beginning of a long series of underwater adventures? Become a certified diver and take a first step towards full autonomy! As part of the SSI Open Water course, you will learn to dive up to 18 meters. Once the course is completed, your license will allow you to dive in total autonomy abroad, and with a guide in France. As the SSI is an international organization, you'll be able to dive in more countries than with the FFESSM certificate.

Goal of the course
The focus of the SSI Open Water course is autonomy. In addition to teaching you basic techniques and communication signs, your instructor will also show you how to manage your equipment alone. With an SSI Open Water certification and your level card, you will be allowed to dive in total autonomy up to 18 meters abroad, and supervised by a guide or instructor up to 18 meters in France.

Meeting & Preparation
The meeting point is at our base, at the port of Bonifacio. This is where you'll find our reception, and where we store all our equipment.
The course takes place over 3 to 4 half-days, including 2 to 3 afternoons and one morning. On the first day of your class, we meet at 1:00 p.m. Your instructor will explain the programme for the next few days, hand out your learning materials and give you the equipment for the first dive of the course.

Course content
- Day 1: Theory lessons + training in a protected bay + 2 exploration dives
- Day 2: Theory lessons + 2 exploration dives
- Day 3: Theory lessons + 2 exploration dives
