In the morning we go whale watching, then we head to a local restaurant for a lunch to then continue your day on a traditional fishing boat that takes you to the volcanic islet reservoir where a guide shows you the islet. Tour info - Route: From Marina of Vila Franca do Campo - Type: Round trip Tour programme - Departure: We meet at the Marina of Vila Franca do Campo at the booked time. We brief you about safety on board and your guide gives you an introduction to Cetacean (whales and dolphins) local species, as well as their habitat, behaviour and migration. Then we head to the boat together with your guide for the tour and the skipper. - Tour: Once on the boat, we will get the location of the whales via VHF Radio from the inland lookout point. In this part of Atlantic Ocean live sperm whales alongside with tree additional dolphin and whales species. To watch the whales, we will slow down and the guide will tell you about the animals you will see at the time. At 11:30am we will go back to the marina to enjoy a delicious lunch by the sea made from the local products. At 13:30am we will meet again in the meeting point, hand the snorkeling gear and a ticket to travel on a traditional fishing boat to the volcanic islet of Vila Franca do Campo. There, you will explore the area with a professional guide. - Return: At 5:30pm, the boat will take you back to the marina where our team will wait for you.
