PADI Open Water Diver Course for Beginners

We offer the PADI Open Water Diver course which offers an international qualification and allows novices to gain the knowledge and confidence to dive as a duo up to 18m. During these 3 days, you will be supervised by one of our state certified instructors for your safety. We will take you to the bay of Saint-Raphaël, on one of the islands depending on the wind, for several sea dives. Suitable for beginners these spots have limited depth and idyllic water and land scenery.

Programme
After completing the booking, the dive center will contact you to arrange which option you prefer between eLearning and on-site theory lecture.
- eLearning:
If you choose the eLearning option, we will send you access to the online study programme which you will need to complete before the course start date. On the first day of your course, all you need to do is present the confirmation you received from the eLearning platform to prove that you have passed the theoretical part of the course. You will then be able to go straight to the practical part with your instructor.
- On-site theory lecture:
If you choose the option of taking the theory course on site, you will learn all about scuba diving theory in a classroom at the dive centre with one of our instructors.
- Kick-off:
We will meet you directly at the campsite "La plage d'Argens" where our base is located at the agreed time, to register you and have you fill in the necessary documents, including the PADI medical declaration. Once the equipment is provided and put on, your instructor will give you a briefing with emphasis on safety instructions and then you will do your first pool dives for training and the instructor will give you as much explanation as possible. From the second day, you will board a boat that will take you to the dive site chosen.
