Go on a sea kayaking tour to the Château d'If and discover the Mediterranean Sea from a completely different perspective! Accompanied by our certified instructor, you will learn more about all the mysteries of the Château d'If. While paddling to the famous prison, you will be able to admire the Corniche, Notre-Dame de la Garde, the Frioul Islands and the Rade de Marseille in the background. In groups of 12 people at most, you will spend 2 hours on the water with us.
Tour programme- Preparation:The meeting point is directly at our base on the beach of Pointe Rouge, not far from the starting point of our guided tour. Please arrive there
30 minutes before the booked time. We will then provide you with all the necessary equipment (life jacket, waterproof canister, kayak and paddle) and give a short introduction on how to use it.
- Tour:We will go on an expedition you surely won't forget! As we head towards the
Château d'If, the place of imprisonment of Edmons Dantès, a character from Alexandre Dumas' famous novel "The Count of Monte-Cristo", we will see the coastline of Marseilles unfold before our eyes. From your sea kayak, you will see
the sights of the city and its surroundings, such as: the Corniche, Notre-Dame de la Garde, the Frioul Islands and the Rade de Marseille.
- Return:After 3 to 4 hours on the water, we will return to the starting point of our tour, where you can return to your kayak.
