Discover the most beautiful geological sights of Marseille with our boat trip in the heart of the Calanques. You will enjoy a unique view of the largest Calanques. Departing from the Old Port, you will embark on a journey of about two hours, in the middle of nature. These treasures are preserved places, so you can observe intact flora and admire landscapes that you have never seen before, due to their difficult access.
We will first pass by Cap Croisette and discover the calanque de Callelongue. Small huts overlooking the port make this cove unique. Then, we will see the wild calanques of Marseilleveyre and La Mounine before entering the natural park of Riou archipelago, which is home to many sea geese. Our next visit will be to Sormiou: this jewel of Marseille is a real postcard setting, thanks to its turquoise water combined with its beach and Mediterranean vegetation.
Continuing northwards, we will approach the Calanque de la Triperie, home to the Cosquer Cave which is now closed to the public, to preserve its 27,000-year-old paintings. Our boat will then head towards the Morgiou, which is a real gem of the city of Marseille. A unique view of the Cap Morgiou is then offered to you! In the hollow of the cove, you will also find a small traditional fishing port. The last calanque we will see is the Sugiton. At 10 metres from its shore, you can see the rocky islet called the Torpilleur. Finally, we will return to the Old Port of Marseille. On the way back, you will have the opportunity to see again all the calanques one by one. Highlights
