Recently discovered by free divers, a Junkers 88 wreck, a German plane from World War II, lies on the seabed of Corfu. Our guided dives to this Junkers 88 are a challenging experience for certified divers. On this half-day trip, you will follow our instructors to the depth of the Ionian Sea, and explore both the plane wreck and a reef cavern full of corals, sea stars, and animals like octopuses or squids.
Dive AreaThe Junkers 88 lies at 26 m under the surface, off of Corfu's northern shore. We will reach the area by boat before diving down to the wreck and to one of the caverns that can be found close by.
ProgrammeThe meeting point is
at 9:30 am at our dive centre. We will talk a bit about your expectations, get you the equipment, go through a quick briefing before taking the boat out to sea. We will have a lunch break on the boat, so
bring your picnic! We will be back at
around 3:00 pm.
