Details
Discover the captivating marismas(marshes) around Isla Cristina, where fresh and salty waters meet, on our exciting boat trip. There is no better way to get to know the fishing culture of Spain's second most important fishing port than by sea. Our experienced skipper will guide you through the marismas starting from either the marina of Isla Cristina or Isla Canela, and give you a first-row seat to 7 must-sees of these natural wonders.
Our first stop will be the fishing port where you will learn all about the fishing culture as well as its inner workings, while having a first-hand look at the fishermen at work. Then, we will head to the Agadir Dock, where you will have a look at some impressive cruise boats, before reaching our next stops, the clam nursery and the natural reserves. Here, you will very likely spot some local and migratory birds such as cormorants, ospreys and flamingos.
Finally, we will make our way to the mussel raft, where we will stop and enjoy some complimentary white shrimps and a glass of local wine. On our way back to our starting point, sit back and enjoy the view as we pass next to the charming Isla Canela and the iconic Isla Cristina lighthouse.
