Canyoning in the Gours du Ray near Nice

The Gours du Ray canyon is located in the Gorges du Loup, near Nice. This canyon is ideal for families or friends who wish to discover this activity, in a wild and majestic setting. No matter your age (8 years old minimum), you will be sure to enjoy the turquoise-blue water basins. The waterfalls of the Loup river and the various obstacles of the rocky canyon will create memories that you will not forget!

Tour programme
- Preparation:
Your guide will meet you at the car park 10 minutes in advance. To get there, take the D79 towards Andon, until you reach the shady car park on the right after the "Brouisse" bridge. Once the group of 8 participants is gathered, you will walk for 10 minutes to the start of the canyon. Finally, before heading down to the Loup river, your guide will provide you with all the necessary equipment and give you a safety briefing. The adventure can then begin!
- Tour:
You will start with a 2-metre jump and a 4-metre slide. Then, you will have to swim in the white water and overcome a series of obstacles: jumps and natural slides. At the end of the course, it is also possible to abseil into a pool. All obstacles are avoidable, which means that you can not bypass them but choose how you want to approach them.
- Return:
The 2 hours of activity will end with a swim in a beautiful pool. Afterwards, a 25-minute walk on a shaded path will be necessary to return to the car park.
