What to Expect

Join us on a whale and dolphin watching catamaran trip in Rabo de Peixe that will be forever engraved in your memories! Before we embark on our approximately three-hour adventure, our expert marine biologists will provide you with fascinating insights into the 28 species of cetaceans and other marine life that inhabit the warm waters of the Azores. They will also cover essential safety measures and our commitment to respecting these magnificent creatures and their environment. Once on board our perfectly equipped catamaran, you will be ready for an unforgettable experience.

As we navigate the ocean, keep your eyes peeled for the breathtaking sight of whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. The coast of our beautiful island offers a backdrop of magical landscapes, making the experience even more special. Often, we also encounter turtles, birds, and other marine species, adding to the diversity of your adventure. Upon returning to the Rabo de Peixe harbour, we will review the species we have spotted. You are welcome to visit our shop, where you can explore interesting displays about cetaceans, including exhibits such as krill and keratin plates from baleen whales.

We meet at our shop, 5 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find paid parking nearby.
