Thrill-seekers will be delighted by this full rafting descent of the Durance river. Nearly 40 km alternating rapids and calmer portions await the most enduring among you for a memorable day in the Écrins massif, in the heart of a preserved nature.
Tour programme- Preparation: Our base in Embrun is the starting point to this full-day tour. Please come 15 minutes in advance, it will be easier to start on time and get into your gear in the changing rooms, including a wetsuit, a helmet and a life vest.
- Tour: You will be driven in our own bus up to the tour's starting point. The state-certified guide will be there on the water with you and he will also give you a tutorial on safety on water as well as how to paddle the right way. Then, on to the 5-hour ride with one of the longest paths you could navigate on the Durance. A few well-timed breaks will allow you to recover and make it to the end.
- Return:After being driven back to the base, you'll be able to enjoy an optional BBQ.
