Discovery Hydrospeed on the Dranse River in Thonon-les-Bains

Hydrospeed or "white water swimming" is a sliding sport practiced in rivers and mountain streams. The principle is fairly simple: let yourself be carried away by the high-speed flows of the water and face rapids and slides buoyed up by a large float. If you are sporty and looking for a different, thrilling activity, embark on a hydrospeed discovery session on the Dranse, fun guaranteed!

Tour programme
- Preparation:
Our base is our meeting point. Leave your belongings in the lockers at your disposal and put on the stylish suit and neoprene slippers that we will provide you! Before leaving for the great adventure, your guide will explain the basic rules of hydrospeed and give you valuable advice on “river reading” to understand and fully enjoy of the currents. Then, all aboard our shuttle transfer to the Dranse, which we will reach after a 5-minute drive.
- Tour:
The course is the same as for the “Rafting Discovery” course: 6.5 km on the Dranse. The start is "below the S" (a special spot on the river) and the difficulty progresses along the way. Thanks to the guide's advice, you will know how to approach rapids and turbulent passages like a pro! To add to the pleasure, the hour of descent takes place in the idyllic setting of one of the most beautiful rivers of Haute-Savoie. What more could you ask for?
- Return:
After the return on board our shuttle transfer, you will be able to put on your clothes again and rest on our picnic area or at the bar-restaurant to conclude this beautiful day.
