Rafting "Classic" for All - Ariege

The ideal tour for an initiation to the sensations of rafting, with family or friends! On this route, we descend the Ariège, going through the town of Foix, its white water stadium, its castle, with a cocktail of emotions on the programme: rapids with sensations, initiation to rafting, and a big whitewater bath for the bravest and also the bathers...

Tour programme
- Preparation: We meet at the rendezvous point in Foix, and after you are equipped, you receive a briefing on the safety and navigation instructions. Then, we take off for a descent of about 8 km.
- Tour: The course begins with an easy first stretch of water with a succession of small rapids, ideal for a smooth start. Then, we attack the first sporty rapid, "the Scios". The next section, quieter, allows those who wish to take command of the ship and learn the role of the "steersman". We finally arrive at the "white water stadium" of Foix - a favourite playground for kayakers and rafters and which promises us good sensations too! We finish the route with the crossing of the city, more contemplative, and which will allow us to admire its castle from our boat.
