River SUP on the Salzach River for Beginners

Go on a sporting adventure during our stand up paddle tour on the river Salzach! Together with an experienced SUP instructor, you will learn how to move safely on flowing waters and discover the fascinating natural landscape along the riverbed. Our tour is ideal for all beginners who want to gain their first stand up paddling experience on a particularly exciting tour. On our ride along the white water, we will pass small bays and sandbanks and you will master your first swells and waves. Join us and experience the joys of stand up paddling for yourself!

Programme
- Meeting & Preparation:
At the booked start time, we will meet at our outdoor camp on the grounds of the Hotel Torrenerhof or at a meeting point along the way (to be arranged after booking), where you can get your equipment and change your clothes. Afterwards, we will take a 5-minute drive by bus to the entry point, where you will be briefed by one of our SUP instructors.
- Tour:
As soon as everybody is ready, we start our tour from Golling to Kuchl, where we will pass numerous sandbanks and gushes. Towards the end, the Kuchler Schwall with its high waves is waiting to be mastered. If you don't feel confident enough by then, you can also avoid the gush without any problems. During the tour, you will also have the opportunity to jump into the cool water to refresh yourselves.
- Return:
At the end of the tour, we will drive back to the camp, where you can take a shower and change your clothes. If you get hungry after the tour, the Gasthof Torrenerhof right next door is the perfect place for a strengthening lunch or dinner.
