He picked us up exactly where he said he would and invited us (a family of four) on his boat. He had life jackets for the kids, all kinds of cold drinks, and started right off. The landscape is fantastic, the water clear and warm — what a swim we had —, Andrea knew lots of things to tell about the area but also left us lots of space to just chill and enjoy the ride. After our swim he had some food prepared (and more drinks). We were exhausted from the heat and the current in the water when swimming, and so we just enjoyed the ride back to the port. We left Lerici in the glaring sun and came back refreshed to a beautiful city in the ambient light of the evening. All in all, worth every penny. What a way to experience the sunset in Italy. "The booking and payment went very well. Greeted by friendly staff when boarding. First stop in Portovenere fine, nice walk around. Beautiful weather by the way and also saw the Amerigo Vespucci enter her home port.
Next place, after 1 hour of sailing with moderate swell, it turned out that mooring due to the wind and swell was not responsible. Wind had picked up. After waiting for a while, the captain decided to sail back. A, in my opinion, correct decision.
We were immediately told that we would all get a refund of a (large) part of the paid tickets. In the account within 3 days. Great!"
