Canyoning in the Cetina River for Beginners"Absolutely recommended – 10 out of 10! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic experience! We were a group of seven and were combined with another group, which wasn't a problem at all – the atmosphere was great. All the equipment was provided on site. The safety briefing was in English, but the guides also spoke German, so communication was absolutely seamless. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. The tour itself leads through breathtaking scenery: directly in the water, partly through fascinating caves, and along the cliffs through the forest. The guides were extremely professional and always very concerned about our safety. Since we booked our adventure with children, it was perfect to see how attentive the team was – the kids were constantly being guided and given excellent support at difficult sections. An important tip: As stated in the description, you should have a certain level of fitness. Sturdy footwear that can get wet is an absolute must. We rented the shoes on-site, which is highly recommended, as regular sneakers would really suffer on the tour. All in all, a perfect experience that we would book again in a heartbeat. It was our first time trying canyoning and we really cannot recommend it enough. The views were amazing, we laughed a lot and felt really safe with the guides there. The terrain is pretty steep, uneven and slippery in some places, so probably not a suitable activity for elderly people or small children. Also, if you have claustrophobia be aware that you need to go through a cave. It is big enough to stand up inside but the opening is a narrow slit that you have to crawl through. "My 5 children and I ( ranging in age from 18-5 years) had an amazing morning rafting down the river Cetina. We started very early in the morning and saw no one else on the river which was extra special. The scenery was beautiful and very peaceful. Our guide was fantastic and made the whole experience safe but also very fun for everyone. We stopped to have a swim in the very clear water and do some jumping off the big rocks. A throughly enjoyable morning which we would recommend very highly to anyone coming onto Omiš. Great value for money and so much fun!"
