What to Expect

Join our ski lessons in the Pizzalto area of Roccaraso for kids from 6 to 13 years old, for all levels. Our experienced instructors will guide your children through a fun and safe learning experience, ensuring they build confidence on the snow. Beginners will start by understanding how to use their equipment, learning basic techniques such as the snowplough, which is essential for controlling speed and stopping. As they progress, they will master turning on gentle slopes, a vital skill for moving smoothly and safely.

Intermediate skiers will refine their skills by learning to parallel ski, which allows for greater control and fluidity. They will practice on the resort’s moderate slopes, focusing on balance and posture to enhance their technique. Advanced skiers will tackle steeper slopes with confidence, learning to maintain speed while executing precise turns. This level emphasizes agility and control, preparing them for more challenging runs.

Roccaraso is one of Italy’s largest ski resorts, offering a stunning landscape with a variety of slopes perfect for all levels. With a mix of gentle and challenging runs, it is an ideal place for young skiers to develop their skills. The resort provides a welcoming environment with excellent facilities, ensuring that each lesson is a memorable experience.

Meeting Time

We meet at our ski school in the Pizzalto area, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

We strongly recommend arriving ready for the lesson, with all equipment, at least 1 hour in advance.

Ski Pass

Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.

In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance.

All participants, apart from first timers, need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office

Requirements

• Minimum age: 6 years

• Experience is not required

Bring Along

• Ski pass

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Gloves

• Goggles

• Warm socks, including an extra pair

• Ski equipment and helmet

Good to Know

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 4 participants

• If the course does not reach the minimum quota, the lesson will be shortened

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels during the course if a participant's abilities improve quickly
