Close to Lake Annecy, you have an amazing opportunity to try out canyoning with your friends and family. The canyon of Angon offers a lot of small jumps and slides that will provide you with a lot of laughter and fun, making it perfect for kids from the age of 8. The three waterfalls which you have to rope down are another highlight of the tour.
Tour programme- Preparation:
You meet your guides at the car park on the departmental road in Angon (entrance with large iron gates). Please be here 15 minutes before. You will receive your canyoning equipment and can change into the neoprene suit. It is easiest to already wear your swimwear under your clothes when you arrive at the meeting point. In a group of 10 people, our tour starts from the car park and we walk to the entry point at the canyon.

After a detailed safety introduction by your certified guides, who tell you everything you need to know about canyoning, the fun can begin. You climb over rocks, jump into the water, swim through natural pools and rope down waterfalls. If you are not a fan of jumping into the water, you can skip this step. During the tour, the guides take photos, which will be made available to download for you afterwards.

At the end of an exciting tour, you arrive back at the meeting point, where your car is parked.

Fantastic trip and actually very very enjoyable. The guide was FANTASTIC, and actually to be honest I was very far from expert (or even intermediate or beginner) at it all. I was rescued a few times from my own lack of ability.

Went with my two boys, 13 and 16. This was our first time. The experience was amazing! Our guide, Arnoud, was extremely reliable and explained everything very well. The group contained just two families: ours and another one, who was French-speaking. I told Arnoud that my French is so-so, but I can understand enough to translate to my boys, but he insisted on explaining everything in two languages and made sure that we understood 100% of what he said. The trail itself is amazingly beautiful, the nature is just gorgeous. A must-do activity for hot summer days!
