I had excellent skiing lessons with Ben, a true veteran of the Jungfrau Ski Region! Ben is a patient teacher, very perceptive of his students and has lots of mountain wisdom to impart. I had initially signed up for group lessons but ended up getting a private lesson. I was worried that since I had booked them at the very end of the ski season, that they might get cancelled due to low enrolment. I greatly appreciate that Altitude Ski School will allow a shorter private lesson for a to take place instead. Thank you for helping my spring holiday continue as planned! Much gratitude!
first class , geared towards the group ability , instruction first class , would highly recommend .
Excellent. Greg was a fab teacher. Gave good tips- did not overwhelm us with instructions. Was sensible and safety conscious, but still pushed us to improve our level. Very much recommended
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
The minimum age to participate in the adult ski lessons is 16 years.
The meeting point is at the TiPi tent at the mountain station of Kleine Scheidegg, 10 minutes before the lessons start.
Yes, the lessons are suitable for all levels, including beginners, intermediates, and advanced skiers.
The lessons take place in small groups to ensure effective learning and a good atmosphere.
Based on customer feedback, if there is low enrolment for a group lesson, the provider may offer a shorter private lesson instead of cancelling.
