Surfing Lessons for Kids & Adults - Beginner

If you want to try surfing a bit more intensively, then the surf course for beginners is just right for you. In this course you will learn the basics such as paddling, getting up on the board, important safety techniques and how to feel comfortable in the water with a surfboard. Our motivated team will be at your side throughout the course to give you advice and help and will take care of each participant individually. You can choose between a 3-day course and a 5-day course. In the 5-day course, you will have the opportunity to work on your technique even more and learn how to choose the perfect wave. Meeting & Preparation
We meet at 9:30 am directly at the beach Playa de Famara in front of the SOS Life Guard Container. As soon as you are here, we can already start with your course.

Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

Course Content
- Theoretical introduction on the beach (equipment, beach, waves, safety rules, etc.)
- Warm-up exercises
- Practice on the beach (getting up on the board, etc.)
- Practical lessons in the water
