Classic Rafting on the Verdon River from Castellane

This rafting descent on the Verdon will meet the expectations of all the thrill-seekers... and much more! From Castellane, you will embark on a 14 km rafting descent which will make you discover the beauty of the "avant-gorges", its turquoise waters... and of course its famous rapids. No previous experience is necessary: trust your qualified instructor to help you stay afloat... but don't be surprised if you swallow a mouthful, it's part of the game. With family or friends, embark on a sporting activity that will spice up your holiday!

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at the car park of the Castellane swimming pool 30 minutes before the chosen time. You will recognize us by our blue trailer. You will meet your instructor who will give you your equipment and explain to you how to handle the paddle as well as brief you on the safety instructions. You will be able to leave your belongings in your vehicle and your keys in our car. Once everyone is ready, we will head to the nearby river and you will board your raft, which holds up to 8 people.
- Tour:
The descent begins in Castellane, with a breathtaking view of the town and its ramparts. Then it's off for 2.5 hrs of descent, alternating fast and quieter sections. You will be able to admire the magnificent landscapes of the gorges but also feel the thrills of white water.
- Return:
Once the descent is over, our shuttle will take you back to the car park where you will find your vehicle.
