You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

These ski lessons are suitable for children between 3 and 15 years old.

The lessons take place in Ramsau. For inexperienced skiers, there is a great children's area with colourful fairy tale figures, a magic carpet and a bouncy castle.

The ski instructors can look after your children during the lunch break from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. For an additional charge of €18 per day, payable on-site, your children will receive a meal.

First-timers do not need a ski pass on the first day of the lessons. The instructor will let you know when to buy it.

In a fun and playful way, your child will learn the basics of skiing in a specially designed children's area. For example, one child was able to use the drag lift and ski down a blue slope independently after just two days.
