Our snowkite lessons for beginners in Silvaplana give you the opportunity to fly over the snow and feel completely free.
We welcome young and old outdoor enthusiasts from the age of 10 years. In small groups of maximum 4 participants, we will start the course with theory, material information and safety instructions. Flying exercises with the kite without skis or a snowboard will help you to develop confidence and once you have reached a good level of safety with the kite, we will continue with skis or a snowboard. In just three hours you will learn everything you need to know about snowkiting and you might already be able to practice this sport independently.
For the duration of the lesson, we will provide a kite and harness. All you have to bring along are skis or a snowboard, a helmet and ski clothing. We strongly recommend that you start snowkiting with skis, even if you are an expert snowboarder, as it is much easier to manoeuvre your kite with skis. If you've tried to ski in the snowplough technique at least once with skis you're good to go!

Our snowkite lessons are held at 10 am at the Sportzentrum Mulets, 7513 Silvaplana.
Start time
The starting time depends on the weather conditions, especially the wind and the presence of snow, so we kindly ask you to calculate additional time for your activity. If the start time of the course changes, we will contact you in advance.

Maddalena did everything possible to achieve the learning goal despite difficult wind conditions. We went from Silvaplana to the Bernina and back in search of the right wind, and we practiced until it worked - far longer than planned. I was particularly impressed by how calmly Maddalena trudged through the snow many times to get the kite I crashed ready to go - always motivating and in a good mood.
